School SOS is a Nomadic Not-For-Profit Critical Design School that seeks to challenge modes of delivering Higher Education in the UK. During its 3 week stay at The Koppel Project from the 13th September, SOS welcomes a limited number of residents to participate in its free short courses in digital media making. The Koppel Project residents will also have limited access to the SOS lecture series on sustainable and ethical practice for artists and designers, joined by Turner Prize winners Assemble and nominated practice Forensic Architecture
As part of their Public Lecture Series, Lydia is an Internal Communications coordinator on the Executive Committee of the Green Party of England and Wales, and the former Chair of LGBTIQA+ Greens. They also sit on the Global Greens LGBT+ Committee. They are working towards qualifying as a solicitor and take an interest in the impacts of legislation on sex worker safety. Lydia was a founding member of Decrim Now, having contributed to the organisation of the 2018 Sex/Work strike, and now helps to oversee parliamentary lobbying strategy. They take a particular interest in the historical intersection of the sex worker and LGBTIQA+ community. They are a member of United Voices of the World and the former editor of Bright Green.
