School SOS

 is a Nomadic Not-For-Profit Critical Design School that seeks to challenge modes of delivering Higher Education in the UK. During its 3 week stay at The Koppel Project from the 13th September, SOS welcomes a limited number of residents to participate in its free short courses in digital media making. The Koppel Project residents will also have limited access to the SOS lecture series on sustainable and ethical practice for artists and designers, joined by Turner Prize winners Assemble and nominated practice Forensic Architecture



In an SOS first, the Sustainable Finance Lecture series includes a stellar line up of successful critical, socially and politically active artists / designers to demystify the financial tools and structures that they have utilised to get their practice off the ground. In this unique series, we hope to gain an understanding of the fiscal foundations and ethical positions of practice.
