On Saturday 12th September as part of London Design Festival 2020, artist Emily Lazerwitz will be demonstrating rug making techniques.

Emily is an artist and mathematician who makes work that investigates government systems using data mined from the Internet. She then takes this data and transforms it into textiles using traditional craft techniques. In her demonstration, Emily will show her most recent pieces and explain how she came to learn rug-making techniques as well as the inspiration behind her work.
