Spring Open Studios at KOPPEL Heights

This April, Elephant & Castle becomes a point of encounter for artists, curators, collectors and neighbours as Spring Open Studios returns to KOPPEL Heights. Housed in one of the area’s large studio buildings and home to over 200 artists, the event opens the doors to a wide range of practices, from painting and sculpture to installation, photography and experimental media. It is our favourite moment of the year, when the building shifts from a place of production to a shared public space.

Across two days, visitors are invited to move through the studios, meet the artists behind the work, see pieces in progress and discover artworks available to purchase directly. The event has become an informal meeting point for London’s creative community, bringing together artists, collectors, curators and curious visitors for conversations that begin in the studio and often continue far beyond it.
