This exhibition explores how artists navigate impermanence: working in temporary studios, repurposed buildings, or psychologically shifting spaces. Rather than seeing transience as a limitation, these artists treat it as a creative collaborator.

The pieces respond to the friction of existing in-between. Paintings capture vanishing contexts: staged domestic interiors where emotions seep into furniture, or diaries of transient spaces like public bathrooms that become sites of intimacy. Video collages fragment and reform like memories carried across borders, while performances use overhead projectors to create live, unrepeatable worlds that vanish when the machine cools.

Materiality speaks loudly here. Salvaged timber and industrial steel bear marks of adaptation, echoing urban decay. Canvases become portable thresholds, holding gardens conjured from childhood memories or still lifes that compress distant landscapes into a studio. And bodies wrestle with domestic objects, blurring lines between the organic and manufactured.

All artists in this exhibition share KOPPEL Heights as a base. This collective experience of making art in flux sharpens gestures, compresses time and finally asks: How do we create with a space rather than just within it?
