Sol Santana

As part of Belen Santamarina’s exhibition ‘Roots and Bonds', Sol Santana’s performance "Mycelium" explores fragmented translations and shared experiences, language as something that bonds and shapes us.

Sol Santana is a Brazilian-Swiss non-binary transdisciplinary artist working across performance, installation, embroidery, and writing, engaging with themes of Queer Futurity, Migrant Identities, and World-Building practices. Sol holds an MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths University London and a BA in Fine Arts from Zurich University of the Arts. Sol has performed and exhibited in Zürich, Lisbon, and London. Most recently, they have been selected for a living/studio space through Bow Arts in Abbey Wood, where they live and work. They are currently part of the Conditions Online programme.
