School SOS

School SOS is a nomadic not-for-profit school for creative practices in art, architecture and design.

This year, SOS-25 has emphasised relationships, bridge-building, community conversations, collective intelligence building, and consciousness raising. It builds on an evolving conversation around developing new and specific, financially viable creative practices that centre lived experiences within communities.

Our practitioners' exhibition, 'mapping elsewhere', is a snapshot of creative work that participants have developed that include work in caring for the more-than-human, wrongfully incarcerated inmates on death-row, forcefully evicted communities, groups with lived experience of trafficking, among many others.
