Join this workshop to explore Cables.gl, a free, open-source, node-based live coding tool for WebGL development.

Learn how to manipulate live and pre-recorded video, create and modify simple video effects, and make your creations interactive. We will cover how to use input devices such as mice, keyboards, MIDI controllers, gamepads, and webcams to drive your visual systems.

By the end of the session, you will leave with your own small interactive patch and a fresh perspective on image-making, viewing it as a steerable, real-time system.

No programming experience needed. If you already code, you will still get a new tool, a new rhythm, and a new set of tricks.

Bring a laptop! Optional extras (if you have them): a USB MIDI controller or a USB gamepad. Margot will bring hers, and we will have a large screen for demos.
