HARD TIMES Artist Discussion

Inspired by the methods Dickens used in the serialisation of his published novels, throughout the duration of the exhibition some of the artists will be gathering inspiration and elements to be included in their work, on a daily basis. The local geography, the people who populate the space, the colours, conversations, sounds and rhythms of the place may contribute to the work, and as such this will be a collaboration between place and artist. As a way of extending the ideas of collaboration artists will exchange these snippets amongst each other, offering up opportunities for an incongruous or disruptive element to enter into the work.
