Yunyi Ye

This workshop invites participants to create digital offerings: short texts written as epitaphs, tributes, or symbolic gifts...for spaces, accounts, or relationships that no longer exist but still leave traces online. Inspired by “Temporarily Closed” signs, the session explores how memory and grief are reconfigured in digital environments, where presence persists even after life has moved elsewhere.

Through guided prompts, we will explore our relation with absent or lost digital places (account, website, community). The aim is to experiment with how emotional imagination can inhabit digital ruins, and how language can act as a symbolic offering in the age of posthuman remembrance.
