As a special workshop of the exhibition <Don’t Mirror Back>, we invite you to a sensory intervention created by artist Kaixiang Zhang. In the exhibition, we seek to construct an exit from the mirrored maze of “language becoming hyper-affirmative.” Artist Kaixiang Zhang manifests this abstract philosophical reflection through the visceral, physical act of a falling spoon—a decisive "Crack."

In this space, we no longer carefully maintain that sweet, hardened social shell. We refuse to mirror back; we simply crack it, crunch it, and swallow it down!

To complete this sensory journey, the artist presents two conceptual desserts, thoughtfully paired with a specially curated exhibition drink:

• The Exhausted "Yes": Orange Sponge with a Torched Brittle Shell The pristine outer layer here is not a submissive sweet; it is a cold, fragile social mask of endless agreement. You are invited to bite into this perfect pretense, crunching through the exhausted "Yes" to encounter the vibrant, bittersweet citrus reality hidden beneath.

• The Cracked Echo: Yuzu Basque with an Isomalt Glass Mirror A flawless, mirror-like sugar surface represents the echoes of "You are right" and "Totally" that we hear all too often. You are invited to forcefully shatter this transparent layer of "consensus" with your spoon, listen to the sharp sound of its fracture, and swallow it along with the awakening tartness of the yuzu.

• The Intervention Drink: A Specially Curated PairingAccompanying the desserts is a custom-crafted special drink, offering two distinct flavour profiles designed to cleanse the palate and gently wash down the cracked fragments of our social maze.
