Othello De'Souza-Hartley

As part of The Koppel Project Exchange's current exhibition, Othello De'Souza-Hartley will be in conversation with Eduardo da Costa curator of the show. They shall be looking at the following bodies of work featured in the show: ‘I Am’ ; ‘Masculinity’ and ‘Studies’, with a short Q & A at the end.

Cataloguing Emotions is the first time all of the elements of Othello’s practice have been brought together in this way. Cataloguing Emotions was born out of practice that interacts with contemporary concerns such as the sexualisation of the male body, the brutalist architecture whom these bodies reside in or beside and finally memories which are invariably caused and triggered by emotional stimulus.
