Welcome to the Canvas Stretching Workshop where attendees will stretch their own artist's canvas! Using Jessica's very deep box edge pre-made stretcher bars and heavy duty cotton canvas provided in the class, attendees will learn how to stretch a canvas.

Attendees will find out what materials are required, the best tools for the job and of course gain tips and tricks from a professional maker for a perfectly tight canvas every time.

At the end of the workshop each person will have a canvas to take home worth £40.

All materials and tools will be provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own tools or materials if desired.

If providing their own canvas, attendees should bring a rectangle of the following size: 62cm x 52cm.

Please note we will be using sharp blades during the final part of the workshop.

The workshop will be at a relaxed pace and as well as being informative it should be a good time to socialise and interact with fellow attendees.
