An Authentic Delirium explores the paradox of artificial intimacy. It continues an ongoing enquiry into how contemporary systems construct emotional experience and how authenticity is negotiated within simulated environments.
Bringing together artists working across installation, moving image and digital media, the exhibition examines the unstable space between coded companionship and human vulnerability. The works presented do not simply critique technological systems. They operate within them, revealing moments in which simulated connection is experienced as genuine feeling.
When emotion can be convincingly produced, the question of origin becomes uncertain. The exhibition therefore considers not whether technology is authentic, but how belief, participation and vulnerability emerge within constructed conditions.
Originating from The Wrong Biennale 2025–2026, this London presentation understands the glitch not as a technical error, but as a structural tension between simulation and lived experience. It is within this tension that artificial and human realities overlap and reshape contemporary intimacy.
