WOOD CARVING WORKSHOP
Saturday 24 February 2018 from 10am – 1pm
The Koppel Project Baker Street
This class will be a taster session to learn basic woodcarving techniques and work on a piece you will be able to proudly take home. This workshop is animated by Nasser Mansouri who will introduce you to the beautiful Afghan heritage of Nurastani art. Note that all of the carving tools and wood material will be provided during the session. And that due to the success of this workshop, a second session will be held in March. If you have attended the first session, this is an opportunity to continue working on your piece and deepen your knowledge around Nurastani art! If not, come and join us for a enriching moment of craft making.
The workshop is part of a wider cultural agenda curated and organised by Ishkar. Be sure to suscribe to their newsletter to get updates about upcoming talks and events.
